How long does therapy last?

The initial evaluation is scheduled for 90 minutes. Generally subsequent sessions are 45 to 50 minutes typically occurring once per week. For those with more intensive treatment plans, sessions may be scheduled for longer amounts of time or more than once per week. Depending on your treatment plan, we can flexibly schedule sessions to best meet your needs. Treatment plans vary, and I can provide better insight to the length of your individual treatment plan after completing the evaluation.

Will you work with other care providers?

Yes, I will coordinate care with your psychiatrist, previous mental healthcare providers, primary care doctor, and anyone else who is a part of your treatment team. In order for care to be coordinated, you will be asked to complete and sign an Authorization Form to enable me to speak with your other providers.

What are your fees?

To determine if we are a good fit, we can schedule a complimentary 10-15 minute initial phone assessment.

The initial evaluation is a 90 minute session and the fee is $325. Follow up sessions for individual therapy are $250 for 45 to 50 minutes, which is considered therapy hour. Please inquire directly about group therapy rates.

Please note that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide 24 hours notice or you will be charged the full fee.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and will provide you with a invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits. You can also submit the invoice for coverage through a flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA).

To understand more about your insurance, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about the following: 
Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
What are my out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
Is there a limit to the number of visits I can have per calendar year?
Do I need prior authorization to visit a behavioral health care professional?
